My first Lips Issue release for this vector series. She is Yuriko Shiratori, I really like her lips. I first found her on the Japanese Live-Action movie Kamen Rider Den-O with the character of Hana. I love her character and her looks so after many years I made her one vector fanart.
I am finding models on movies, live-action drama, and other resources to find for the best model for my artwork series, my own personal preference. If you have a suggestion for my vector series you can comment it below so that I can take it into consideration.
Done in Adobe Illustrator finished last December 04, 2014. This time I am bit by bit doing some of my own style and this is still a realism vector. I had more time to work with the details on her clothes.
If you like this artwork, you can find the higher resolution on my deviantart account named Lips Issue: Yuriko Shiratori
Feel free to also to like my facebook page KyouFactory, this is my most updated page for my artwork development, I even posted some WIP (Work In Progress) artwork there, so you can see how it was done.

Emma Stone in Vector
Emma Stone in Limited Colors vector. I am a fan of Emma Stone, she is pretty and cute especially her Gwen Staci character in the movie "The Amazing Spider-man". This is limited color vector because I only limited her color in few numbers, this is kind of minimalism vector style.
Done in Adobe Illustrator, did some new experiment style in her hair. This is one of first few vector art last 2014, November 21 to be exact. I am just new many vector style so we cannot expect that I could be expert into this style. By this time I am still confusing on some of my approach in doing vector artwork.
If you wanted to view it on the higher resolution, visit my Deviant account Kyouzins and find many vector artwork including this Emma Stone vector.

Toning Technique
Before we explore more on toning technique, we must understand these two important techniques that composed toning technique. Shading and Tinting.
1. Shading is a technique using a shadow/darker colors to have variation in your art. Your base color is the lightest all and you are making those shadows to make shapes, variation, curves, and many other things that imitate reality.
By this you can control the dark parts and also the light parts of your artwork to imitate what the real world is because by the end of the day art is something creative made by human that imitate what he/she can see using his/her mind to create those art, design, graphics, etc.
2. Tinting is a technique using light to have variation in your art from flat color and brightness. It is a complete opposite of shading. Your base color here is the darkest color if possible.
By combining these two technique you can create a Toning Technique. Toning is simply means the combination of these two techniques. Your base color is the middle tone/colored/level then you apply shading for creating shadows and apply the tinting for creating lighter parts and the areas where that subject of yours in the artwork expose to light.
In real world Tinting is the best technique to follow but for artist Toning Technique is the most effective way to create art that consider lighting in the artwork. However, shading is used mostly on traditional art since most of our canvas, paper and other materials were made up of lighter surface and using darker mediums to create art.
Whatever your technique is stick with it, there's no bad technique but knowing this may help you create your art more effectively depending on the available materials or some limitations you have in art.
Fig. 1.1. Show how this technique were being applied in your arts.
Hope this give you few information about these techniques. These were very basic techniques every artist should know.

My first release of "Hair Issue" vector series.
I love doing this style of hair. I wanted to create more artworks of this but now I don't have enough time to do one.
The story of this artwork is that her hair is flowing with air and the tips will release some heart petals like roses. The model of this artwork is my ex-girlfriend, she is beloved to me and I really love her until now. Why she was my ex-girlfriend because now she's my wife. :)

She is Lisara Restall. A shinigami from anime Dakara Boku Wa, Ecchi ga Dekinai. I like her custome even though I find it hard to find this costume of her in the net so I did some redesign just small details.

Done in Illustrator. Date finished: November 02, 2014.
